All helmets sold on helviox.us are certified to meet the US Department of Transportation (DOT) FMVSS 218 safety standards at the time of manufacture. However, HelvioX makes no claims regarding the effectiveness of these helmets under extraordinary circumstances or impacts exceeding the testing parameters defined by the DOT.

2. Assumption of Risk

Motorcycling and related power sports are inherently dangerous activities. By purchasing and using a helmet from HelvioX, the user expressly acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with these activities, including the risk of serious injury or death. The use of a helmet is intended to reduce the risk of head injury but cannot eliminate it entirely.

3. Limitation of Protection

No helmet can protect the wearer against all foreseeable high-speed or low-speed impacts. Helmets are designed to absorb energy through the partial destruction of the shell and liner. Some impacts may exceed the helmet's capacity to protect the user from brain injury, permanent disability, or death.

4. The "Single Impact" Rule

A helmet is a single-use safety device. If a helmet is involved in an accident or subjected to a severe impact (such as being dropped onto a hard surface), its structural integrity may be compromised even if no damage is visible to the naked eye.

• HelvioX strongly advises that any helmet involved in an impact be destroyed and replaced immediately.

• HelvioX is not responsible for injuries resulting from the continued use of a compromised helmet.

5. Proper Fit and Maintenance

The effectiveness of a helmet depends heavily on a proper fit. It is the user's responsibility to:

• Ensure the helmet is the correct size and the chin strap is securely fastened according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

• Inspect the helmet regularly for signs of wear, cracks, or aging.

• Avoid using unauthorized paints, solvents, or adhesives on the helmet shell, as these can weaken the structural materials.
